In observance of the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote, Osceola History will present Kathryn Chesley portraying Carrie Chapman Catt as she talks about the Women’s Rights Movement, the development of the League of Women Voters and the Equal Rights Amendment. Catt served as president of the National American Woman Suffrage Association, and is credited with getting the last state to vote to pass the 19th Amendment.
