DESCRIPTION:The staff and volunteers of Osceola County Animal Services are excited to invite the community to join them at the 5th Annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday\, April 29\, 2017\, from 10:00AM until 2:00PM with extended pet adoption hours until 5:00PM. This free\, family friendly event will be held at 3910 Old Canoe Creek Road. Osceola County Animal Services will be providing free snacks\, face painting\, prize drawings\, and a variety of entertainment. Attendees will be treated to various activities including animal training demonstrations\, informational booths\, and local pet rescues. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to highlight a variety of cats\, dogs\, and small animals who are available for adoption and waiting to find their forever family. Pet adoption specials and adopter starter kits will be available for those who adopt a pet during the event. Kids are invited to attend "Mini Vet Camp"\, presented by St. Cloud Veterinary Center. Children can bring any beloved stuffed animal in need of repair and learn to be a stuffed animal vet apprentice for the day.
